A DROP OF WATER OR A WHOLE GALAXY, YOU ASK?
It depends on your point of view I guess, but how are we to know if in fact our galaxy is in space or in fact created inside a single drop of water. Are we a million light years from anywhere or just a few milimetres from the tap. Is our universe millions of kilometres in size? or are we all living on the surface of an atom. The conundrum then is how on earth would we know? All our experiences take place in our galaxy with no outside influence to compare, big bang? Or big splash? Seems to me that life imitates life. Isnt an atom the perfect replica of a solar system. Also in the same argument then, is how long is a second, or a minute, which measure shall we try here. A lifetime may only be a second long in the big scheme of things.Arent we looking into even smaller galaxies when we look through a microscope at life smaller than us? Arent they living in a drop of water? That leads to another thought……who is looking at us?
